After catching up on a few of the new profiles, it strikes me that quite a few us have museum grade technology stored in our lofts, attics and garages (such as thornuk's Sinclairs.)

I thought the forum might be a way of allowing closet horders to confess all...  Wink

Off the top of my head to start with I know theres a Mac Plus (the one with the signatures inside the case), some sort of Sinclair that someone at work was chucking out, half a dozen or so various PDAs, and my partner has boxes and boxes of old Apple II bits (I just don't look in those). I'm sure someone will easily beat that lot?  Roll Eyes

Hi Graham

I know an email out-of-the-blue, but I wondered if you could help...?

Do you have a Research Machines 380Z machine with either 5 1/4" or 8" drives and the CP/M boot discs etc?  I would be willing to buy at a GOOD price, or hire for a short time - I am a genuine collector and I am trying to put together a system for my mentors 80th birthday (it was my first machine, well actually that was a binary SCMP but won't get into that, to use and his as well!).

Thanks for any help.

Nick

I remember my first computer - a Commodore Vic 20 - with cartridges or a tape player - my favourite game was mole attack!  I keep finding old games on the internet and showing them to my son, who thinks I must have been crazy to have been entertained by them!
