Hi All ,

Mobile Learning is featured in the HMCI OFSTED annual report which was published yesterday.

http://www.ofsted.gov.uk/assets/Internet_Content/Shared_Content/Files/2007/oct/annualreport0607.pdf

The Learning2Go Mobile Learning initiaitve in Wolverhampton is mentioned by name on Page 81 paragraph 345

Interestingly in the section entitled..... A sense of identity:growing up in 21st century England

With the risk of getting another of Mr Mack's comments... Dare I say a well done from the mobile learning movement to all of those Wolverhampton Schools in Learning2Go who have been inspected this year.... to get a mention in the National Report is quite remarkable...

Maybe we are having an impact after all!  Smiley

HI Dave

I attended the conf at the JJB in Wigan on Tuesday and was really inspired by you to investingate and lead a project at PEMBEC. Im the Network Manager and i know that its not a techie medium 100% but i really want some of our techers to get on board, i have the go ahead from the Head too (lol).

I read a post from you in 2006 saying that you wont use smartphones due to health reason has your view changed?

If you are planning to use smartphones then do you plan to allow pupils to use them as phones when at home and in school, if so how do you control it.

Also have you an email address i can contact you with questions, i understand if you dont want to give it out but i can assure you it is only for periodic question about mobile devices.

Sorry for all the question, just enthusiastic

Thanks
