All of you Sketchy fans who have whiled away the hours crafting fine animations on your handhelds have the chance to get some international recognition in this animation contest according to GoKnow's website:
Spring time is Sketchy time!
GoKnow is again running the Sketchy Animation Contest. Teachers -- please submit your student's Sketchys. As in the past, Sketchys created by students from all grades and all subject areas can be submitted for consideration. New this year, teachers can also submit their own Sketchys for award consideration!
Hurry! The submission deadline has been extended to May 5, 2006.
This year we have some great prizes! 1st place winners will receive 1 GB iPod Shuffles. 2nd place winners will receive Nintendo Gameboy Advances. And 3rd place winners will receive miniature digital cameras. Honorable mention will go to those who have their Sketchy posted on the GoKnow website.
