Please complete this new poll and do let me know what the 'other' options are:

What a pity that you can only vote for one topic. In the end I decided to choose class admin because its most frequent. But my PDA is also used for note taking, picture taking (the quickie ones- not for the public), personal admin and quite often as a reference book. I've got two dictionaries - German synonyms and a G-E/E-G Dic. It sits in my pocket is always at hand.

I agree with Petra. The survey kind of goes against what a handheld is all about: versatility. Any way to change the poll to one with check boxes instead of radio buttons?

Game to try if someone tells me how to do it - this was an attempt at a more provocative poll to get further ideas about handheld use to try out with teachers

I checked 'other' because I find my Tablet PC is most useful to support my teaching when I put it in the hands of the students and thy use it to record their thoughts, video their experiment or animate a concept. I like the poll idea, maybe we could have a poll on how often teachers which feature of their handheld device in the classroom?

Not very surprised at the way the poll has shaped, but I am surprised how few forum members have responded - could it be placed on the HHL's home page to achieve a higher profile ?
