At first glance the news that you'll soon be able to stream video from YouTube directly onto your large screen TV via an Apple TV box might not seem relevant to this community. However as you consider the wider possibilities of "learning while mobile", i.e. the learner being mobile, this seems like a great possibility for the creation of either DIY educational programming, the ability to upload video from projects captured at school/college/uni for review and access at home or the collaborative sharing of personalised learning materials.

From reading Apple's PR it appears that they might be limiting the range of videos that can be accessed possibly to fend off copyright issues and the potential for inappropriate material. However, who know's, in time they might permit a collaborative learning channel.
