Because of mobile working there are more and more families moving children around from one school to another, and many from one country to another.
At the same time schools are not keeping up yet with allowing access to computers for children at all times . . somehow I can see smaller devices bought for children on an individual basis carrying lots of info about them and also their own work and games plus favourite pics. etc. so that all this can be shown to the new educational establishment.
Somehow a half filled battered text book with answers to Ex.4 Page 2 Bk 3 never arouses any interest in the poor child's new teacher.
These devices have to be personal and also operable across a range of platforms.

For the next academic year I am planning on travelling in America and Asia with my nine year old and trialling equipment and software on the way.  I am a teacher from Scotland.  Any contacts, info. ideas for this project will be happily received and rewarded with pics of Rosanna keeping in touch with other children and I hope doing some school work in some distant location !
Thanks.
