This years conference and exhibition will be held from Oct 10-12th at the Westminster Central Halls. The venue is opposite the Houses of Parliament, next to our last venue but larger with bigger break out spaces and an incredibly grand main hall!
See:
http://www.c-h-w.com/ for more information about the venue.
The conference will run for 3 days and our current thinking is to use the first day for professional development sessions, workshops, practitioner sessions and special interest groups.
We will also be able to accommodate more exhibitors and larger catering spaces for networking.
As always we welcome suggestions from the community regarding what they would like to see to make this event special and valuable.
There will be a call for papers shortly but please do not hesitate to contact me sooner should you have something that you think should be part of the event or would like to participate.
The conference steering committee includes Doug Brown, Deputy Director of Learning Futures, DfES, Tony Richardson, Director of Policy and E-Strategy, Becta, Prof. Stephen Heppell, Sean McGuire, Education Director, Intel, Adrian Hall, Director of Mobile Learning, Steljes, Tony Vincent, LearningInHand and Mark van’t Hooft, Researcher, Kent State RCET.
Those considering sponsoring or exhibiting should make contact at soon as possible.
We are pre-registering now at
http://www.handheldlearning2007.comThis will ensure that you will have first call on tickets which will be limited to 1,000 places.
