blogs about handhelds

Here is an interesting blog about handhelds I ran across the other day. I actually know the author, Julie Lindsay, pretty well. She works at an International School in Bangladesh, and I figured some of you may be interested in getting a perspective on handheld computers from that part of the world:

There are plenty of other posts in this blog, but some interesting ones about handhelds as well.

Ian Marsden in Australia has a blog called Pocket-Ed Futures. His posts give some neat examples and information on the projects his students do with handhelds.

I've started a blog today about a m-learning initiative we are planning to start at our school this term. We are a secondary school (11-16 yrs) in Blackburn, UK, and are working collaborating with our local authority as they embark on a similar project involving three primary schools. You can see how we get on at:

This is a general educational technology blog but I enjoyed Ewan McIntosh's observations of this years excellent Handheld Learning conference.

I have a
PDA Section
in my
Blog
.
More about the technology than learning though.
I use to have a
mobile learning
section on my
e-Learning Blog
but that is been curtailed as I am moving jobs soon and will be deleted.
Will be blogging about mobile learning in the new job hopefully.

I have a string of blogs that I keep in a "Palms in Schools" folder in my Google Reader pages.
http://www.google.com/reader/shared/user/13926198368610434527/label/palms-in-schools?c=CJjkxpjyuIgCMAk
to this collection. (Palm Addict is in there, so the list can get very very long.)

Not specifically about handheld learning, but I really like this educational technology blog from New Zealand:
http://blog.core-ed.net/derek/
I've picked up a lot of interesting information and ideas from there.
