For those of you who want the kitchen sink in your smart/PDA phone, the Xda Flame phone from O2 which is due to appear next year. It has a pretty impressive feature list that includes built-in 2MP camera (both sides and with flash), Tri-band 3G Telephony, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth, VGA display, a whopping 2Gb ROM, surround sound, TV/Projector out, Micro SD memory expansion, high speed graphics processor, FM radio and USB all running on Windows Mobile 5.

Sounds pretty yummy to me!

Should be available by the Spring 07 but no prices yet announced.

Looking at past Xda phones on a contract basis one might assume this phone would be in the £200-400 range (subject to your monthly tariff) or perhaps around £500 without contract if available in that form.

I'd expect that it would be compatible with most external rechargeable GPS units (circa £40) if you're looking for the whole enchilada  Smiley

It would be good to know what other members think with regards to your earlier question over mobile phone safety in relation to the Stewart Report, i.e. could mobile phones officially be deployed in schools as learning tools?
