Here's an interesting development announced at this years IFA 2006 expo in Berlin.
SanDisk have come up with a gadget that you plug into your TV or other video source that records up to 3.5 hours of video onto a 1Gb SD card which you can then play back on your handheld computer.
It's one of those ideas that seems gob-smackingly obvious once it's available, which according to Sandisk will be this coming October.
It's called the SanDisk V-Mate and is expected to retail for around 100 Euro's

It can record upto 640 x 480 resolution (enough for top of the range handhelds) and is available for a wide variety of removable media including SD Cards, MMC, MMCPlus, SDHC, Memory Stick, etc.
It's a kind of VCR for your mobile device.
