All,
A colleague of mine just returned from the CADE/AMTEC conference in Montreal, hosted by the Canadian Institute for Distance Education Research (CIDER). While perusing their site, I ran across a special interest group on mobile learning. What is interesting about this group is that they aim to do

Research into the use of wireless mobile devices to deliver instruction to learners anywhere and anytime. The owner and moderator for this Special Interest Group on mobile learning is Dr. Mohamed Ally, Athabasca University.


I'm not sure how much else has been posted about this combination of tools on the Handheldlearing forum, but I know CIDER is a quality institute and I will be tracking this special interest group. Joining the site is free btw.

There is also an interest group of design-based research, with a nicely developed page of resources already.
