Hello! I was just wondering if anyone uses their handheld with regards to keeping their timetable on there? I know this might be a handy option for students but also for teachers!! Anyone?

Hi Bitton,
Sorry this one slipped under the wire - I've only just found your request.
I use Excel on my Palm T3, which enables me to format it as I wish. A number of programs have been mentioned on this forum, specifically for the purpose of holding timetables, and they may show up if you use the "search" facility (I confess I haven't tried it, myself).
Another likely source of information is the Palm User Group on the Yahoo groups site.
However, unless you're going for a unified database which inter-relates staff, rooms, classes, and resources (so no-one and nothing can be in two places at once) - which would involve a BIG program and lots of setting up - Excel works just fine, and will synchronise with the desktop program.
Best regards,
PeterB

I've seen a program available at Astraware called Timetable that is used for this purpose. The nice thing is its free and easy to use
