Welcome to all the new visitors to this site which is about building a community that has an interest in sharing experience, knowledge and ideas concerning the use of mobile and ubiquitous technologies in the education and digital divide sector.
You're very welcome to browse and read stuff on the site but if you register you gain access to much more of the community and the opportunity to participate.
For example:
• you can upload and download free and shareware from the software library (which will get bigger the more members use it and add stuff!) • you can participate in the forums, ask questions and get answers, make yourself heard, start a debate • you can submit articles for possible inclusion in the article section which is fed by RSS to many other sites and also to Google News. • you can submit web links to your favourite websites • you'll receive priority invitations to Handheld Learning events • you'll receive special promotions on handheld devices, software and accessories
So where's the catch?
There isn't one - it's all free and there's no spam. You'll just get the occassional newsletter that lets you know what's new on the site and forum. We'll never share, lease, rent or sell our membership list.
Why are we doing it?
Because we want to do something positive to help bring a community of interest together that will help bring about a revolution.
How do Handheld Learning make money?
We host the world's largest annual conference on the subject of learning using mobile and ubiquitous technologies. We do bespoke consulting and software development.
How do I register?
Where you see a log-in box on the screen you'll also see a link that says "register" click on this and provide a few details and you're all set
I look forward to seeing you!
Cheers
