Slideshare goes mobile

I have liked Slideshare as a place to put my presentations and store them online and show them online.
One problem was that they used Flash which of course did not work on mobile devices such as the iPod touch or the iPhone.
Today Slideshare announced a mobile version of their website.

We’re quite excited to announce the new SlideShare Mobile website today. Visit
http://m.slideshare.com
on your mobile phone and you can view any presentation, search through presentations, login to save favorites and even download to your mobile phone!
Impress that client you bump into somewhere by running a quick pitch off your phone! Or review the latest conference presentations you missed while travelling!

I just tried to check this out, and found, on my Samsung SGH-F490V, that it suggested I install the Opera Mini! browser version 4.2, which I duly tried. This failed with a "Certificate Error" - 3 attempts achieved no success. Clicking the "if that doesn't work try the older version" message, brought up "Other versions: Download Opera Mini! ...Download Opera Mini! ...Download Opera Mini! ...Download in another language ...Try the old Opera Mini 3"
Clicking the last of these three, brought much the same again, with no success.
It would be remarkable if I am the only one to experience this lack of success. (If so, what's the solution ? ... If not, perhaps they should improve their quality control !)

Hi Swidahed73,
Do you mean a browser for your handheld device or desktop/ laptop ?
If desktop, etc., there's IE8 [for minimal learning curve], Firefox [which has zillions of plugins & add-ons], Chrome [from Google I think, but not sure; quicker than the other two, but at what security price ? ], and Bing [no, not from Crosby, but from MS]. I understand that that's in decreasing order of security [but that depends who's telling you, and what their affiliations are]. There's also Opera [good reputation, but not caught on, possibly due to charges made for early versions when the other two were free], and the Apple one (Sahara, is it called ?).

... and the
http://m.slideshare.com
still doesn't work from a desktop - perhaps I'll try it from the mobile !
I couldn't see any reference to the mobile version on their website
www.slideshare.com
until I scrolled to the VERY bottom of the home page, and the link is the last item on the page (bottom right) !
