Anyone know of a module for Moodle that supports mobile learning? I only know of MoMo but it looks a bit dead in the water now.

Hi John
The Stockport Molenet project I worked as consultant used a mobile friendly version of Moodle, not a pulgin as such but it worked well as way of delivering learning materials.
We used to work more interactively with the mobile version of Hairdressing Training I designed.
Let me know if you want more details.
Cheers
Stuart

Hi Stuart
Thanks for the info. I would like to hear more about the project you worked on. Are there any links? Is it still active and available?
Regards

Hi John
It was part of MoleNet 1 at Stockport College and used pretty much exclusively for that. Various features available, such as polls and updates etc.. It worked very well. Basic idea was to having something that would work on mobile's specifically but of course there is the problem that interfacing directly with existing VLE content would bring all sorts of content that simply wouldn't work, so a specific instance was built. There has been work done in Spain on content conversion in Moodle but its still at research phase.
Technically the Stockport work its still active but I don't think much has been done with it since the end of Molenet 1. I can set-up a virtual meeting with some of the team if you are interested in talking about it more?
