was the x51v the last of the better handhelds they released? these days, at least for me, htc is dominating the pda market. they have a pda or a smartphone available for almost any range of mobile user

not exactly hardcore handheld learning stuff, but a welcome companion for those who the handheld learning community. it's been around in the US for a few months, but it's now available in the UK: Sandisk's sansa fuze is their news mp3/mpeg4 player that comes in 2, 4, and 8GB versions - and has FM, voice recorder, picture viewer, mpeg4 player, and has a microsdhc slot where you can swap in a memory card up to 32GB. pretty amazing stuff for something really small. found out more at their website:

nah, i have my windows mobile device - it's as good as an eee pc, and better in some aspects.

on a mac, i use isquint (freeware) or it's commercial version, visualhub. for PCs, i use pocketdivx encoder (freeware) and pretty much total video encoder for anything else (commercial). hope that helps.

FWIW, for years, people have been trying to put flash in windows mobile phones - these days, it is something that you see everywhere. i remember even signing a petition one time about just that.

david here - windows mobile fanatic. currently have the htc wizard, planning to upgrade to tytn2 when this device dies on me - though i doubt that will happen anytime soon (worst case scenario, a firmware flash does the trick). anywho, happy to be on board.
