Title: Nintendo Wii gets SUMS Maths
Post by: SUMS_Online on May 10, 2008, 05:53:03 PM
Hi All,

I am delighted to announce that we have made SUMS Maths available on the Nintendo Wii, which is a fabulous device for home learners. Having achieved mastery of ten pin bowling, the home user can now drag Fraction Monkeys to a number line with the same feeling of achievement. ;D I know that a few forward looking schools are also using the Wii.

For all you Wii users, go on the Internet Channel and go to www.wsums.com (http://www.wsums.com). The W stands for Wii Sums, so don't confuse it with our normal website www.sums.co.uk (http://www.sums.co.uk).

Please do let me know how you get on.

Best wishes

David

That's brilliant news David!

It looks good and we've been playing with it this afternoon at chez Brown-Martin already. Fabulous on a large screen and engages the whole family which is a different experience from a handheld.

Looks like there will be quite a few school and education favourites coming to the Nintendo platforms in time for this years Handheld Learning 2008 Conference (http://www.handheldlearning2008.com) which, of course, Nintendo (along with Becta) are one of the main sponsors  ;)

Cheers

Graham
