Anybody who has not yet booked their place at Handheld Learning 2006 is urged to do so as soon as possible.

We are now very close to capacity and it's likely that we will need to close the booking system before the end of September and put a waiting list in place as per last year.

Apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause. We had thought that we had sorted enough space this year after last years event took us by surprise but appears that the interest in this area of teaching and learning shows little sign of abating.

Graham,
How many registered participants do you have, if I may ask?

Hi Mark

The cap, imposed by catering, is 500 delegates and we're now close to that. There is a possibility that we could extend beyond 500 but this requires an additional overflow room for refreshments and dining thus creating some logistic issues but also potentially affecting the 'intimacy' of the event.

Wow, great numbers! Too bad I'm not one of the 500 this year. Maybe in 2007...
