From the Intel Developer Forum (http://www.news.com/Atom-looms-large-at-IDF-Shanghai/2009-1006_3-6236451.html) in Shanghai...

A device manufactured by China based Lenovo featuring the new Intel Atom chip has been unveiled along with its name - the IdeaPad U8. Not such a catchy name perhaps but goes along the lines of the ThinkPad series that Lenovo took over when they acquired IBM's PC and laptop business a while back.

It's the first in a line of low cost MIDs that are going to be appearing in the sector. It run's Linux, is web-enabled, has GPS, plays media and takes pictures.
