Thanks for your reply re the Palm Zire 72 and Autosync problem. Since getting your reply I tried an autosync without the SD Card installed and ....... it worked alright. The SD Card contained a copy of Tom Tom Sat Nav and MP3 Music Files. I have now deleted all the MP3 Files but the Palm  still hangs during the autosync process. I'm not too keen on deleting the Sat Nav. It has worked well for about eighteen months with no changes made to the system. Do you think this is where the problem lies.

I have owned a Palm Zire 72S for the last 18 months and up until a couple of months ago had no problems when carrying out an autosync. Now when i carry out this operation. the on screen page starts the autosync but after a few seconds the revolving logo comes to a halt and the programme seizes. The only way out of this is to "End Programme" on the PC and to re-set the Palm Zire.
The only changes made to the PC  since this problem started has been to install a "Wireless Router".
I have tried two or three times to uninstall "Palm" and re-install from the supplied disc. This makes no difference at all.
Can someone help please.
